Writer's picture: BOLT SafetyBOLT Safety

For this first post in the "Flip the Narrative" category, we're looking at a campus resource that empowers survivors and works extensively to prevent sexual violence through events and educational resources.

Campus resource: The UBC Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Office (SVPRO)

What they can help with:

Amongst other things, help you find a safe place to stay, arrange academic concessions, explain your reporting options, go with you to the hospital, police, or court. You do not have to go to the hospital or make a police report to use SVPRO's services.

Where to find them:

Check out their website at svpro.ubc.ca

Or visit their cozy space in Orchard Commons
